Franziska is a Senior User Researcher with a quantitative focus at Zalando SE. She holds a PhD in Communication Studies. In her PhD, she uncovered the impact of emotions on information processing – a topic that is still close to her heart.
Her passions in research are to make complex ideas measurable and quantifiable (e.g., the joy of use, design maturity) and giving a scientific spin to the work she does. She holds the firm belief that breaking down barriers between different kinds of data and methods (e.g., qualitative research, analytics, and survey data) is the best way to do research and acts on this every day. Doing some product work has given her a creative take on how to have an impact on teams and organizations.
